Grew up in the Los Angeles area and started playing at 9 years old. My first band made its debut at a block party in West Covina, Ca. The party turned into a full fledged riot between party goers and the LA County Sheriff's riotsquad. It made headlines in the local news paper,“ROCK BAND MAKES DEBUT CAUSES RIOT!”. Great publicity, but bad for business. Over the next 50 years, I played in numerous local bands wherever I lived: LA, Phoenix, Louisville, Havasu.
